Running Hobo

What about creating an app runners really use?

Visual identity / user experience / product design

After becoming frustrated and convinced that apps like Nike+ are in their final product lifecycle becoming too complex, bulky and slow, I've revisited the core functionalities that real runners use. Simple, light and fun.

Go with the flow

I've tried to connect with the spiritual and physical challenges runners face. During the run, the main idea is to display at a glance relevant information like distance, pace, and consumed calories. After the run, the option to share your progress and effort at your social networks.

Performance map

An interactive map provides the runner with a simple way to access his progress. A color code that takes into account the runner's level of fitness creates an extra motivational push, but still able to achieve.
